The Diary of a Young Girl Book Review

The Diary of a Young GirlThe Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think no review was needed to this book. And I am quite disappointed to those who was making absurd comments to this classic book. The purpose of this book was not for our selfish entertainment. It was for us to realize how lucky we are that we didn't live their lives in the past! Can you imagine your self locked 3-4 years in an old attic just to avoid the holocaust in order to survive?!?!? think folks how LUCKY we are that we are living in this generation!!!! Second, Anne Frank was just a 14 year old girl who unfortunately hadn't see much the world and life itself!! Consider yourself lucky that you're able to comment and say any thing on your own will. But also try putting yourselves on her shoes. I don't need to rate it for I know no number of star ratings deserve how her life was during her time.

Thank that I found HIM

Thankful.

That's what I had today.

Being in the city for a couple of months; far from the presence of my family; alone, I am able to realize something that made some of my inner personality found foundation.

I became very interested in studying HIS words: the Scriptures.

Being like this, leaning and clinging on him, made a big relief in my heart. I have noticed changes in my moods, faith and belief.

I never had this wonderful sensation before when I am still unto Him. But after receiving His free-gift of Salvation, there are always blessings meeting my way.

No words can express my gratitude to Him; my love to Him; and how grateful I am due to His eternal existence.

Thank God for all the days coming!

Glory to God in the highest! Hallelujah!

Amen. (-/\-)

Broad Evolution

“There’s no such thing as accident” – Oogway, Kung Fu Panda
from L to R: Fae, Arvee, Clez, Camz, Ichan, Norbert, Francis, Kimmy, Venz, Jen, Elly, Ann and Kaye - the BS Broad

Four years. Yes, it’s been four years when we all first met each other. It was the start of another chapter in our life: college times. We were strangers in each other’s presence, observing every gestures and movements, avoiding making a bad impression. But here we are now, very bold and open to each of us. And to those four years, I have realized something.

They said that high school was one of the happiest parts a student might have during his school times; that college was the time to be serious for it indicates the path you might chose in the near future. But in my case, I considered college as the best part of my student life!

All of us enter college and it was like being culturally shock that still hasn’t got over high school. We started as 15 in our course as freshmen and we’re combined to another course which was very opposite to us. Since we are still in the “getting-to-know-each-other” stage, we are still studying each other personalities. On our first years, we are having quarrels and argumentations with regard both in our academic and personal aspects. Our small number was being divided into several groups and pairs. But we are able to fix problems through confrontations and heart-to-heart talks.

And every year, we are able to see each other thoroughly. We are able to figure out the differences, weakness, fears, toughness, tears, and happiness of every individual n our group. We are able to share our self to everyone.

We still face argumentations, scandals and issues in our group. But we are able to forgive, forget, apologize and resolve every trial we are facing.

Some stay, some go and most stay still in our group. From the original 15, only seven remained and there are six people who joined us after our first years. Our meeting from the start was never been an accident. It was part of our destiny to meet each other. And to everyone, there’s a reason or a purpose on why we met. Maybe it was to learn from each other, to change, who knows. But one thing is for sure, everyone became a part of each individual and in some ways, we will cherished and savor the moments we spent with each other.

Eggs for Oily Skin!

Most of us, especially those who live in tropical countries, suffer from one of the most irritating situation to our face: Oily skin. I for myself was an example. I usually have oily skin ending up that I always have press powder or paper oil for me to remove the excess oil over my skin. But you can even reduce your skin oiliness without spending a large amount of money. A single egg is an answer to your face dilemma!

Egg was rich in vitamins and minerals that helps nourishes the skin. The white and the yolk have different substances and uses. Egg white draws out the excess oil in your face and very useful facial cleansing and exfoliation. While the egg yolks serve as a natural moisturizer. Eggs are also good in firming and tightening the skin which make it as a popular natural ingredient in facial mask recipes.

How to obtain a glowing skin without the oil? Well, here it is:

You just need the following for the facial:
·         1 raw egg
·         2 bowls
·         Warm cloth
·         Cold water
·         Ice cube
·         Lemon juice (optional)

1.       Separate the white and the yolk of the egg and put it into 2 different bowls.
2.       You can add few drops of lemon juice in the egg white for it help eliminate the oil to your face.
3.       Wipe your face with warmth cloth to open the pores of your skin.
4.       Beat the egg white until it was frothy and white then spread it in circular motion to your face upward avoiding the eyes.
5.       Wait 15-30 minutes. It must be harden up on your face. You can remove it if you find it hard to smile.
6.       Cleanse the egg white on your face using the warm cloth.
7.       Beat the egg yolk and spread it on your face the same way you did to the egg white.
8.       Wait 15- 30 minutes till it hardens up.
9.       Wash the egg yolk off with cold water to close up the pores.
10.   Rub an ice cube over your face to tighten up your skin.

While doing this, always pull your hair back away from your face. It is best to do this procedure at night and no more than once a week. It is also advisable to do this before taking a bath to cleanse it off better. You can also do the same procedure on the back of your thighs to get rid of cellulite.

These were the basic procedure in fighting oily skin. But there are also other ways that involves eggs. You can add oats, milk, honey, etc. you can search it up or could wait for my post in here for me to elaborate it up well.

Hope this help guys!

Stay pretty and healthy!

You can even check Michelle Phan's video about this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk4xdYt3ick . I just included some tips which is also useful here.
